E-Safety Information

The use of technology both within school and at home is growing. The internet offers a fantastic range of resources and opportunities to enhance children's learning and personal development.

Access to the internet is becoming easier and children increasingly have access to devices such as tablets, laptops, smart phones and game consoles.

It is important to remember to supervise children's use of the internet and to ensure that they access age appropriate information or resources.

Unfortunately those using the internet can be at risk of being subjected to indecent or obscene material, viruses and online abuse.

We are working with staff, pupils and parents/carers to create a school community which values the use of new technologies in enhancing learning and encourages responsible use of ICT to minimise potential e-safety risks.
